This was created for the January 2012 Contest at #MusicInspired! I just noticed something odd. When I view the original image in photoshop the colors are much more vivid. deviantART's display is washed out and dull by comparison. I recently did a revised version fav.me/d7erped

Originality Technique ImpactLovely image, my dear. Just looking at this draws so much emotion.
I must agree with you, the background looks washed out. If the background had been a sunset, then the message would have a more powerful effect. Sunsets symbolize the end of the day.
I'm sure that there are other art out there that have the same concept as you put into this one, but something about it draws me. I think it's the model or her expression, maybe her dress.
You have photo-manipulated this very well. I thought that the cliff was part of the picture in the first place but when I saw the picture that you used for the cliff, I was surprised.
